Some Reviews From Former Guests!

Our continued strive for quality and satisfaction can best be expressed in the words of others. Here are three reviews from each of our three Big Bear area properties! we could toot our own horn all day everyday, but to see what other people have experienced and the joy and satisfaction they have personally taken away from their choice to book with us. At Trek Properties you will always enjoy your stay and any issues that you have will be fixed and corrected as soon as we can get on it. We love these units and it shows. You will feel instantly in a home away from your own.

Pilot Chalet

Fairway Gambrel - scaled“We stayed here end of September. Me and my husband, another couple and 3 other friends. It was an awesome cabin and the biggest plus was having a fenced in backyard for our dogs and a hot clean Jacuzzi on the deck. The indoor fireplace heated up the house very quickly and it was very warm and comfortable inside. You will want to use the humidifiers as big bear is very dry, owner provides them so all you have to do is fill with water and plug them in. Very spacious bedrooms made it more enjoyable with two upstairs king beds, downstairs queen bed with a pull out in the living room, there was plenty of room for all us of comfortably. Location is very prime as we could walk to many stores/restaurants and only a few miles to drive to Vons. China island was about a 15-20 minute drive but very worth it. I would definitely stay here again and my friends and I plan to come back very soon and check out what it's like in the winter. Shaun was very helpful with a quick last minute transaction and explained everything more than well so we ran into no problems. Great place to go if you want to have a nice relaxing time but at the same time a blast. Very enjoyable weekend”

Slopeside Chalet

PICT0729“This condo is in the perfect location. It is a 5 minute walk to the chair lifts which makes it perfect if you have a big group and are trying to accommodate everyone. The condo is very nice and spacious. It sleeps 8 people comfortably. The Jacuzzi is where its at though! It only holds 6 people but it is perfect after a day of snowboarding!! We stayed in this cabin with 7 people who are all relatively loud and we didn't get any noise complaints which is probably the best part!! We didn't throw a huge party or anything but we definitely had our fair share of laughs outside in the Jacuzzi! All in all, the condo was great! We will definitely be returning to Snow Summit!!”

Snow Summit Ski-In/Ski-Out Condo

Grass Pet Area - scaled“Nice ski-cabin style decor with lots of charming accents and wood ceilings and walls! We LOVED our stay! Fully stocked kitchen with ALL spices needed for cooking and ALL cooking supplies! Excellent coffee maker with reusable gold filter - if you bring filters, the coffee maker takes "cone-style" filters. Small toiletries provided in bathrooms (nice touch in case you forgot to pack something) & there is a hair dryer too! Towels for 4 provided (I recommend bringing an extra set for hot-tub use & wash towels as needed in the wash machine/dryer). Buy wood at front office and enjoy the gas ignition fire place! HUGE TV in living room with sound system for watching movies. 5 person hot tub - crucial for muscle recovery after hard day skiing. (I prefer slightly stronger jets, but the 3 jet grouping in the middle seat is great for sore muscles). Unit close to parking, makes unpacking and packing your car a snap. Walk 1 block to lift - I suggest leaving skis outside the bar by lift 2 at the base and walking back to the unit for lunch. Great to take everything off and dry wet ski clothes in dryer before heading back to slopes! If you bring kids with you ... there's a chest of toys in the master bedroom closet & even videos in the right drawers of the 2nd bedroom dresser!!! Great TVs in both bedrooms. Lots of hooks for coats downstairs. If you bring a dog - I highly recommend bringing a baby gate to keep your dog in the tiled kitchen while you are skiing (then you don't have to worry about them getting into the fireplace, falling through the railing by the stairs, or doing anything that could damage themselves or the unit). Our dog LOVED his vacation! He felt right at home and we could tell he was so grateful we brought him because he was an extra good doggie on our trip! He enjoyed being with us in the snow and loved sniffing all the new mountain smells around the ski village. So happy we could bring him! Only have one problem to report with the unit ... the door won't slide shut on the upstairs half-bath (at least we couldn't get it to slide). Overall - great cabin-style unit with everything you need to unwind after a day of skiing located close to your car and to the slopes! We look forward to returning :-) Thanks for a great stay!!!!!!”
